Raising a child is a very hard job for adults and teens. I am not here to judge, I dont know what is in your heart. God does, and he will do the judging of all humans when the time comes.
Pregnancy is a blessing. Bringing another person in to the world is a wonderful and amazing thing. Pregnancy is the result of having sex, it is far from a punishment. If she feels that way about it, she should consider giving up the baby to adoption. Maybe you can help this promiscuous girl get on the right track instead of looking at her as a slu t. Good Luck to you and your family, from a christian who feels that things happen for a reason.

Well um I don't think that is true. I have been pregnant 3 times and as painful and uncomfortable it is, I don't think I deserve to be punished especially for being a s l u t. I was married and 22 when pregnant with my first. So I doubt that pregnancy is a punishment. And what is the man's punishment?
As for our Church they welcome children into the World. It is seen as the purpose of life, so it isn't seen as a bad thing. Of course I believe sex is better to only occur within marriage. So if the teen is married all the better.

I've never met a Christian who thought teen pregnancy is a good thing, outside of wedlock, anyways. I've only heard ignorant "Christians" call pregnancy a punishment. They're generally the same crowd that would assume that someone had committed an awful sin if they had a mentally or physically challenged child.

Pregnancy is not a punishment. It is the result of having sex. If the teen mother is legally married int he eyes of God, then the pregnancy is a blessing from God.

No, pregancy is something that happens when two people have sex. It was intended by God to be something that happens between a married couple. When people have sex outside of marriage, there is a chance that the women will get pregnant. Teen pregnancy is not a good thing because it is a consequence of sex outside of marriage which is a sin.

as most super christians go they live hypocrytical lives judging others and forcing theitr views on people who arent interested. Did u know back in the day girls had children at the age of 12. Teen pregnancy has nothing to do with god, it has to do with lack of education on sex, and or low self esteem...........and sometimes, just a freaky mistake. by the way u sound, I wouldnt worry 2 much about it, I am guessing it will be a while before u get any booty, especially with that attitude.

"Pregnancy is God's way of punishing teenage girls for being sluts"
wow. that's harsh. i don't think that way. everybody makes mistakes. deal with the consequences and go on with life. your statement is very judgmental.

Pretty sick, bub, and certainly not the catholic attitude. We married a couple at my church last week who've livedtogether for seven years out of wedlock. They had two kids, both of whom were baptised as infants. They'd been together since h.s. and she was certainly a pregnant teenager at 18. So what? It all worked out. It's just a matter of being tolerant. Where do you get these sicko notions?

That God, he's such jokester. My sister had a baby at 15. Her now grown daughter is expecting her first child (at age 26). My sister's children are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet and they're all atheists.

God doesn't punish because you sinned. I sin everyday in some way or another and he doesn't punish me. That is the beauty of Grace. Grace covers all of our sin and it is our faith that in God's Grace that we are saved. How do I feel...? Well I do not like it or condone it but Jesus taught me to hate the sin and love the sinner.
