I asked her out. She was my friend since we were ten and now were 17, 18. She said she didn't like me and that I'm her friend. I was like damn that day, then I realize I didn't want her to be my lover, In fact friends was fine, just I wanted her to know I cared and that she's my friend. And since I've been gone its like I would have to start all over again. So what should I do?

You're lucky, good friends no matter what sex they are, are few and far between.

Find her, sit her down and tell her. You'll likely find she is relieved by it all.

My best friend is a woman I have known for a long time, she has been with me through thich and thin, through relationships, we have vacationed together and helped each other through every situation imaginable.

I hope you hang on to her friendship.

Tell her that you think she is such a great friend that you confused the love as a friend you have with her as a more serious love but you don't want that to mess up things. If she is that good of a friend she will get over it and it will be the same. My best friend in high school asked me out every year and I also said no because even though I loved him more than anyone it wasn't like that.
