CUT PORTION SIZES. Eat less at each meal, and eat small snacks more frequently. Not candy or ice cream etc. By snacks, I mean fruits, low-fat yogurts, those types of things. Never skip breakfast. You get a 5% metabolism boost from each meal, and that helps you burn calories. Breakfast also fills you up and keeps you from getting hungry. Another thing you should do to keep yourself feeling full is eating food rich in fiber. Nuts, fruits, grains, and many more foods have alot of fiber in them. Make water your main drink. Aim for 8 cups a day. Soda will undo all of your work, and it's best to stop drinking it. Same goes for sugary fruit drinks. Also, for pasta and bread, switch to wheat.
How frequently should you have a snack? Eat one between every meal. Trust me, you won't starve.
And, of course, doing all of the above won't help a bit unless you exercise regularly. Jogging, walking, running, biking, swimming, basketball, tennis.....There are many things you can do to stay active. Aim for 30-40 minutes of exercise a day. It also helps to do crunches or pushups when you first wake up. I do a set of 50 when I wake up, 30 in the afternoon, and 20 at evening. I've noticed that my belly has slimmed down quite a bit.
It's not exactly a diet, as diets are temporary. It's best to develop healthy habits instead. That way, when you lose the pounds, they'll stay away.

A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watch
Keep to a 1,200 food intake
Add 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn't seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.
I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127

I've answered this question several times. But I'll answer again. You can eat almost the same, just don't eat at night after dinner. In other words fast between dinner and breakfast the next day. Of course you must eat healthy. And to burn off the calories and fat the best thing is running. If you can't run try cycling.

I find that some good ab workouts are good. And don't over eat. Just eat what you need and limited snacks. Also! Don't drink calories! You won't feel full if you just have liquified meals.
For ab works like situps/crunchies, supermans, planks work well. Push ups are good too. You can also sign up for some aerobics or yoga classes to help keep the weight off for good.
