I find that fingernails are the best "weapons" but there are other great "toys" out there as well.
Try the Sonicare Electric Toothbrush on the bare feet. It is evil fun!
Try the Fukuoku Massage Gloves for full-body tickling. Each fingertip has a vibrator which makes for some wonderful tickling.
Baby Oil is a very effective "additive" for playful tickle torture. When you rub a generous layer of baby oil over the skin, it magnifies the tickling sensations.
soft sable-fur paint brushes can provide a very pure and effective tickle all over the body as well.
I find the feet, armpits, legs/ thighs, hips/waist,. neck and ears to be the best places to tickle.
Although I have never been "tickle to death", I have been tickled into hysterics with these toys and I love them.

Yes I've been tickled to unconciousness
several times, and thought I had died
from it.
The best tickle weapons are fingers...
it depends upon how soft the person's
feet bottoms are whether you need to
use your nails there or not.
If someone uses fingernails on mine it's
ticklish but also hurts, because I am quite
tender there.
Feathers are good on some spots
like ribs, belly and armpits, (if there's
not too much hair under there).
One item that puts me completely in
hysterics is a mangrove pod, which is a
little thing like a bean that when dried is
sharp on the end. Two friends of mine
buried me in the sand down on Key West
and used those on the soles of my feet.
They found the exact nerve spots with the
points, so I screamed,cried and wet myself
until other people came by to see what all
the insane laughter was about.
The best way to really get someone is
to be sure they are restrained, and then
test all their spots. The less clothes on
them, the more they feel the tickling, and
the more people doing it, the worse it is.

I can tell you having my wife tie my arms up in the garage so that I am on my tip toes with my arms straight up is just about the worst tickling I ever took. She took total advantage to my exposed underarms, then reaching down and tickling the soles of my feet. I was totally helpless to her fingernails.

Well, tickling spots are different for everyone! For one person it could be under their feet or their necks. For another person i could be just the waist or stomach. I think that a good tickling weapon is feathers ( classic ) and soft objects.
