Smart, there are a couple of ways you can go about it.

First is the H1 visa and that is for professionals. I will provide you a link at the end of my comments.

Also, you can be an investor (you need money for this 1 million or more) Also, a link provided since I don't know your financial status.

You also, can get a business class visa that is for business transactions or a tourist visa. The tourist visa requires that you show you will return to Singapore, including having property in Singapore, a family in Singapore that you are leaving behind, money in the bank(5,000 or more dollars, preferably more), and property that you own in Singapore as well as a job you are leaving behind that will be waiting for you upon return.

Also, you can apply for an I 130 through a direct family member that is a US citizen or perm resident if you are the father, mother, or child of a perm resident, or if you are the brother, sister, mother, father, child of a US citizen. The time for processing depends on the country you are from and the waiting time. That information is found at the department of state web site. I wish you luck.

Your question is impossible. There are many, many ways to immigrate to the United States. I have no idea which one you are interested in and no idea which ones you qualify for.

Do you have $1,000,000 to invest? The US has a program where you invest it in a business and then employ 10 Americans. You can get an immigrant visa that way.

Do you have a college degree and a skill that's in demand? Are you a math teacher, a nurse, a physical therapist, an information technology professional? If so you might qualify for a special work visa that can lead to immigration?

Do you have a family member in the US? If so you might qualify under family sponsorship.

Do you have a fiancee/fiance in the US? If so you can immigrate that way.

I suggest you go to the closest US embassy or consulate and get information on the various types of visas and how to qualify for each type.

There's regular air service. You'll need to get a visa to visit, immigrating is more serious, I believe you need a sponsor.
