Of course Jesus' halfbrother would say to ask God and study.
But there is a curse for those who trust in men rather than the Lord:
Jeremiah 17:5 "Thus saith the LORD; Cursed is the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh [humans] his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
