Id expect that your going to get some about why you want the job... If I were the hiring manager I'd like to hear someone tell me the truth maybe not "I need the money" but something along the lines of "I'm interested in a career in _______ and I think the experience I will get here at Coldstone will help me down the line."

Don't panic tell the truth it is the one thing that still works wonders in a job interview.

Actually, unless it's a managerial position, they are more likely to ask questions about your availability then they are to ask you about your motivation for applying. Remember, this is not a top-tier job that you are after. Many places like this feel lucky to get anyone through the door filling out an application for a job that pays so little. Furthermore, the managers in these place usually have VERY poor interviewing skills. They tend to talk more than they listen. So, just play nice, and you will get the job.

Good luck.

You can expect questions like, where do you want to be in 5yrs time, companies like these like team players they want to hire you to stay with their company, tell them you would like to learn all aspects of the shop and hopefully someday you will be able to manage one. Don't be too ambitious, they will also ask you best qualities, stick with honest, reliable and good at listening and taking direction.

well why the xxxx cant you say that? here is an example. i understand i need a plan for my life and unfortunately in this society that means money. if i can get ahead on my bills, put something together and concentrate on making us both a profit for my time and your business involved we can both have a brighter and more profitable future. think it out. if thats your reason i see no reason why not to express it.

Some really fake pretentious questions. You have to be super pretentious in interviews. Everybody is.
