No. We are simply bio-chemical machines that rot in the ground and "cease-to-be."
There is no "god", no "heaven", no "hell" ... no big deal. All the people dear to you that have died are NOT chilling in some sweet cloudy paradise, waiting for you to come join them in the blissful hereafter.
They're just DEAD. Someday, you will be, also. Embrace the truth.

In, yes. The bible tells of a resurrection to life both in heaven for a small number and a larger number to life on earth.
We know this to be possible by Jesus resurrecting people back in the 1st century. They were known to be dead several days by many family, friends, and neighbors. He referred to them as sleeping. This is in accord with Eccles. 9:5,10 which says the dead know, feel, and think nothing. Neither can they do any work nor influence the living.

I believe in Life after death. I believe we come here on Earth to learn lessons and when we have completed said lessons we return to Spirit and prepare to come again, to learn more.
This is how our Soul grows and evolves.
