I'd say satan is more god's doppleganger or mirrored image.

What kind of question is that?
It does not make sense.
Thats an insult.
who would want to be brother or twin to satan.
Your conclusion would have to say that God had a Mother and Father. That question sounds iffy. Twins, their complete opposite, no twin or brothers. I can see if you said were they best friends before satan got cocky and jealous.

This is a Zoroastrian concept, basically that "good" and "evil" are equal. This concept is popular among Masonic organizations. Satan is of the Jinn and not a so called fallen Angel. Satan will be thrown into the lowest part of the Hell.
Surah 18 Ayat 50
"And mention when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam", and they prostrated, except for Iblees(Satan). He was of the jinn and departed from the command of the Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange."

Neither. That singular notion would elevate satan to equality with god, which is the great illusion!!! Understand the scriptures when they try to explain the truth that, cf,2Cor.4:4 "satan is the god of this world" YAHWEH IS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER & CREATOR OF ALL THINGS, but, HE is not a god! The "gods" are the fallen angels who have trespassed on this earth & trespassed with the people of this earth in teaching them the false ways or worship that are in total defiance of the ways YAHWEH COMMANDS!!! YAHWEH is so far above satan that there is no comparison between them. Only what she can fool us into believing when we will not believe the plain written WORD OF YAHWEH!!!

Whether they were brother or twins doesn't matter. I feel that they were both angles one was good and the other was bad. God is good and Satan is bad.

Satan was originally one of God's angels... one of his creations. How could he possibly be his brother or his twin.

PWW,
I guess you could be as correct as any other human when thinking about the opposing sides of good and evil.
People grasping to understand GOD through the eons have tried hard to make something understandable that probably can't be.
Peace.

Satan is merely another created being, a fallen angel to be exact, whereas God has always existed.

Hi!
That sounds like a variation on the Yin - Yang concept.
Good and evil - the two sides of the same coin.
Good wishes.
