The Church will always defend what it believes to be truth as it appears in Scripture and Tradition. The whole purpose of marriage is to share your life with your help-meet and to enjoy the benefits that marriage offers ... compansionship and sexual intimacy. Even though an intimate sharing with your spouse can be "devine", the real purpose of marriage is to be blessed with children. If you are Catholic and married but you don't want children then I think it is only reasonable for you to test your faith by being obedient to Church teachings and see what happens. Allow the Church to guide you in these matters. Do as the Church says (as Christ says ... same thing) and you will be satisfied in all things. The Church is merely a guide in these matters but you ultimately will have the final say. Be prepared, research and try to understand Church Teachings on this matter. Put your faith in motion and test these teachings and see what happens. Remember, be obedient to what you know to be true and all things will work for the good of those who love God and are called to His purpose.

Well since popes, priests, and nuns don't have children, I guess it's not really their problem how they screw their followers.

I think they want it to fail. More drones means more money, more power.

Nothing. Unless you can show that someone was forced to use it, why should it?
