Man, this is so bleepin' easy:
Just a couple of questions for Christian?
Are you religious? I am confused on how you are much different than the people you hate. Sometimes you organize together and start websites and national groups. You try to convert people to your line of thinking and if they disagree you chastise them. You have no use for anyone that disagrees with you. You can be rude, pushy, and condescending to those who make another choice. You conveniently forget the black spots on atheist history like The Inquisition, Crusades, all the medieval Popes, but often remind other beliefs of their black spots. You preach tolerance and peace, but your words convey otherwise. You have all of the answers to the most difficult questions that the greatest thinkers of all time have not known or disagreed on, and you misuse these people by correctly mentioning for example that people such as Thomas Jefferson was not christian but fail to remember his proposal of and written document of the Constitution of the United States. You make these same complaints about the religious, but are you not just as 'religious '...
You go, boy..

answers in brief:
1. no, we are not religious.
2. we try (and often fail) to form groups, because there is more power in numbers and we need to be heard. unfortunately, we have been accurately likened to that of herding a bunch of cats.
3. yes many atheists are pushy. but we dont kill in the name of our disbelief either.
4. stalin pushed a religious based agenda even though he did not believe in a god per say. he used a dogmatic system of rule on impressionable people, in a sense creating his own "religion". the problem with stalin was more over strict socialism. you have to also look at the control variables in play.
5. we do NOT have all the answers, we do not claim to know the answer of everything, that would be what religions have done, to say, it was all gods doing without evidence. we say there are other possibilities and we should not to fall pray to faith or a non acceptance of evidence based on a more "comforting" belief.
6. and yet again, no we are not religious.

Then what are saying in this statement? By being rude and condescending, you are getting your point across? You have all of the answers?
You are telling me that companies like Trinity Broadcast Network that scam money off of old and ignorant people, this is a good course of action and these people running this organization are good people? The have faith healing and bang the bible trying to brainwash others..for money? These are the Religious people calling themselves Christians. I want nothing to do with people like that, if that is what a Christian is.

You are generalizing here. Not all atheists do all these things you accuse us of. Personally I could care less what you want to believe in. I don't engage in *atheists website* promoting atheism. I don't wake up in the morning and say "Another day has come and there is no God". I don't distribute pamphlets on atheism and proceed to shove them down someone's throat.
I just go about my everyday life not even thinking about the fact that I'm an atheist. You just don't get it, do you?
Saying atheism is a religion is like saying "running" is a religion because it's an activity I like doing. In fact, I don't even think about the word *atheist* unless I'm on this forum.

You proceed from a false assumption: Saying atheists "hate" believers is far too general. I can't speak for all atheists, of course, but I can't imagine you could find more than a handful of true atheists who "hate" believers.
I think you'll find that the prevailing emotion is indifference.
Personally, I don't care what anyone believes. As long as they keep it to themselves, refrain from yarking in my face about their gods, and don't try to get their fairy tales taught as science in public schools, I can happily ignore them. If there are believers who hate atheists (and I can tell you there are), I suppose that's their problem. If I occupy that much space in someone's head, I'm not the one with the problem. I guess that's the difference: Believers are more obsessive.
And as for the websites and organizations: Those are in answer to those believers whose sole purpose in life is to turn our free society into a Christian version of Iran. We need those sites to counter the misinformation, rumor, innuendo and outright bigotry of the far-right religious fruitcakes. So yes, I support them, to a degree. But that still doesn't make me religious.
I don't believe in atheists getting together to form "study groups," or other such nonsense. Whenever you get a group of people like that together, sooner or later someone wants to be in charge, "to keep things organized," and to start making rules, and telling people what to do. That's how religions get started. No thanks.

Stalin wasn't a black spot on atheism. He was a black spot on humanity. He didn't kill in the name of atheism. Atheists aren't organized and we disagree on many things. Christians claim Einstein was Christian and we correct them. But why bother using facts right?

> Are you religious?
This is truly a brilliant (not) question to ask an atheist.
> I am confused on how you are much different than the people you hate.
It is quite obvious that you are indeed confused. We do not hate. Just because christians are used to hating each other is not a good reason to assume that we are like you.

What are you blabbering on about? Just because I don't believe in god does not make me rude, pushy, or hatefull. Or any of the other things you said. And I don't go around trying to convert people, I respect their beliefs. I can't say the same for religious people, there are many of the who try to convert people. There are many who criticize people for the beliefs or non beliefs. Every religon thinks theirs is the best. Just because someone does not believe in god does not mean they don't want peace, many wars have been fought in the name of "God" Look at all the horrible things that are done on this planet, many say "its in the name of god" that Iam killing people" or"god wants me to do this or that" its easy to blame something that does not exsist, after all something that is not real cannot defend themselves can they?
There are many zelous religous people who treat women like servents and preach that women are inferier to men, simply because they are women. Look at a lot of the countries in the middle east were women are forced to cover themselves from head to toe just so they can go outside. Or killed in the name of their families "honor" all beacause they wanted to marry someone outside their religon. Not so long ago a women could be stoned to death for simply getting pregnant out of wedlock! There are far to many horrible things done to people in the name of religon, which makes me want no part of it. I know there is no second chance when I die, there will be no "god" to forgive me, or a wonderfull paradise to frollick in. This is my only chance at a good life, and I make sure to live one.

I'm an Atheist, but I don't indulge in any of the things you mentioned in your diatribe. I don't "hate" people who have religious beliefs, that is their prerogative. I simply don't believe in "god" in any shape or form, or in any form of religion. However, I would never deny any person their right to believe in a religion, as long as they don't try to force their beliefs upon me, it's simply a personal thing. I suggest you get your facts right before criticising. It occurs to me that a large number of the statements you make in your so-called question could equally apply to you.
