tomorrow and we have tranquilizers. How do u stop it or can u?? I know nothing about them so if you have any websites or other serious answers or comments on them. He's fixed also.

Thats pretty old for a Schnauzer. He is probably set in his ways and you're not going to change his behaviour much. If he bites alot you'll have to watch him close so he doesn't bite a child. As they get older, like yours, they get aggitated easily and don't really like change. If you just got him, give him some time to adjust to his new home. We have schnauzers and think they are the greatest dogs in the world.

Your dog is an old man. Be patient with him. He's set in his ways and if he bites, don't let people come too close. He's probably afraid. There's no need for drugs. Animals can't tell us of any ill effects drugs can have on them.
We rescued an older German shepherd about 5 years ago and every time she'd walk past me, she'd nip me on the thigh or my stomach. After I had enough of that, every time she'd head my way, I'd brush her nose away before she could get me. She eventually stopped.

Leave him alone.They don't live much longer then that.
