Yeah, floods are a rare occurrence where I'm at. They only happen every year.

Weather patterns have always run in cycles. We get several decades sometimes of a certain type of weather, and then it swings into a different pattern for a while, then back again and so on. One individual's life span is reeeeally short and that one person just doesn't live long enough to experience these "weather cycles" so that particular person, if he is really religious, probably starts saying "Ohhh this is it, this is the sign that the worst is coming". Ho Humm, they've been doing the same thing since the year dot.
No question that Global Warming is a reality, and no doubt at all people will have to expect quite a few unusual weather events occurring as a direct result of this new factor. Those changes will probably continue and be around for a very long time, unless and until we all agree to work at reversing the pattern that we, ourselves, have been responsible for initiating. But some sort of "Biblical Warning"? "The End Times" sneaking up on us? I don't think so LOL.
But if you do decide to go ahead with that Ark, better work on an awfully big pooper scooper to take with ya, and one gigantic s ack to put it in. I mean you wouldn't want to be polluting the waters with all that poop would ya?

Well, history always repeats itself as to weather and other natural disasters. Why would anyone think that natural disasters have an end, anyway? There are volcanic eruptions to come that will dwarf any that are in our known history. It is only a matter of time. Same as storms and droughts, they have come and gone numerous times in recorded history.
Actually, over the last couple of hundred years it has been relatively mild by earth standards. Surely there are earthquakes to come that will destroy entire cities and effect people for hundreds of miles around the epicenter. 1815 was only less then two hundred years ago, one of the worst winters in recorded history and 1816, the year there was no summer. Hurricanes have hit the North East hard numerous times in our history and that is due to happen again soon, no doubt. The little Ice Age was not that long ago.

God flooding the Earth is not the same as man causing flooding. We keep over building and over building so there is no where for the water to go. Of course it will cause a flood, but it's not Gods fault. God Bless.

Hi Penny...God made a covenant--a solemn pledge never to flood the earth and destroy it again with floods..it's in Gen;9 v 9 onwards...God made this pledge with Noah, his sons and with all the animals that came out of the Ark...verse 13 says God set a rainbow in the sky as a sign to Noah, that He would never do this again...
Although parts of the country is flooded, it's by no means the entire earth...having said that, maybe God is using it to get our attention!.....and yes it is interesting...

It's hard to tell if the weather is any worse than it was 20 years ago. The news are so obsessed with doing scare tactics to get ratings that according to them we should lock ourselves in the cellars with shotguns and never come out.
Of course, they'd do a story on it about how a madman with a gun is going to burst out and kill everyone at any minute.
Notice how they have to put the words like "scared" in every report at least twice per 15 seconds?
Unfortunately, there is a global warming aspect here. Not so obvious, "scary" weather patterns are causing changes that aren't big and flashy and scary (got scared in twice in one sentence, wait, three times!) so the news doesn't report on it
and people don't think about it.

It is exactly history repeating itself. There are periodic floods and natural disasters, both here and on other planets. It's entirely natural. This planet just happens to be populated.

Floods earthquakes more than ever before you can say something is happening. You can see for yourself things are getting pretty bad. Maybe not revenge but God is trying to tell us something.

God promised not to flood the earth like he did before but I guess in that he has control over everything, he is allowing this to happen. As to why, who knows, not my place to wonder why!

AND DEATH SHALL HAVE NO DOMINION
And death shall have no dominion.
Dead mean naked they shall be one
With the man in the wind and the west moon;
When their bones are picked clean and the clean bones gone,
They shall have stars at elbow and foot;
Though they go mad they shall be sane,
Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again;
Though lovers be lost love shall not;
And death shall have no dominion.
And death shall have no dominion.
Under the windings of the sea
They lying long shall not die windily;
Twisting on racks when sinews give way,
Strapped to a wheel, yet they shall not break;
Faith in their hands shall snap in two,
And the unicorn evils run them through;
Split all ends up they shan't crack;
And death shall have no dominion.
And death shall have no dominion.
No more may gulls cry at their ears
Or waves break loud on the seashores;
Where blew a flower may a flower no more
Lift its head to the blows of the rain;
Through they be mad and dead as nails,
Heads of the characters hammer through daisies;
Break in the sun till the sun breaks down,
And death shall have no dominion.
