If God had anything against England...we would all have been swept away long before now!!!
Our punishment for Iraq will be shown to us over many years to come. I fear my children and my grandchildren will suffer for what the west has done to the world.
These floods are just nature doing what nature does. The reason you panic is because you are not in touch with nature.
It will be much worse than this.

Because...... wait, wait, wait, ........... How on earth would flooding in England serve as a punishment for the US going against the UN and going to war with Iraq????????
Besides that, why do religious people blame bad things on their god? The purpose is to believe in a greater power and have faith in him, not to just bring him up as a scapegoat when bad things happen.

Flooding is happening all over the planet and drought in other areas. Even if you do drive on the wrong side of the road, God does not hold it against you.
Becks and Victoria seem nice though.

Gods ways are higher than ours and He knows the turn out or the ending and although people have been hurt because of the flooding there will be something good that will surface too

People asked this same question when Hurricane Katrina flooded the Gulf Coast. My answer remains the same; you are an idiot. How can you possibly believe that your "god" has such bad aim that he must destroy a huge swath of ground just to target a few sinners? That's as short-sighted as saying Katrina was to punish those with less-than-godly lifestyles in New Orleans, but he had to take out the whole coast line from Louisiana to Alabama to do it. Do you think so little of your god as to say he has horrible aim?

Yeah God singled England out for the mess in Iraq. He couldn't figure out anyone else to bother about it.

Oh do grow up, what has god got to do with the flooding, it's caused by heavy rain, poor drainage and allowing building on flood plains

That is such a silly thing to say. It is to do with Global warming, not God's punishment. When bad things happen in this world it is not God punishing us but testing and teaching us. This life is a learning experience.
