My 14 year old son wants to legally change his name from Karl to "Cash-Money God". I don't understand the meaning behind it, we are well off but still. I understand why, I changed my name a few years ago to Super-King but thats awesome and bada s s. Should I let him do as he wants?

Super-King is not awesome or bad *** and if you don't want your son to change his name for any reason other than his age then you are being a hypocrite

Lol, super king and cash money god, you guys seem like an interesting family ;-D. And you're the parent aren't you? Maybe he's just young and doesn't know what to do, tell him when he's 18, and that will give you more time to think and it will give him more time to think. If you say no, he'll be upset and bring it up that you changed your name, so why cant he? But remember you're the parent, he'll eventually get over it. So, whatever you decide to do, remember, you're the parent. Hope you do the right thing!

Cash-Money God is WAY cooler than Super-King, which sounds like a cross between Super Test and Burger King. Grow up. Your son sounds more mature than you.

You are an adult you can change your name its your choice. However your son is a minor and that also is your choice whether or not to let him change his name. At his age I would not let him, Even though he thinks it what he really wants. I would just let him know when he is grown and a legal adult he can do as he chooses but for now my answer would be wait.
