Everyday? Wow, that really is a tough one... I suppose that I have to go with grilled cheese. Mom had a knack for grilling the buttered bread to a perfect golden brown on each side. The sandwich was always presented cut into triangles (is there any other option here?) oozing kraft singles. mmmmm Maybe I'll have that for dinner.

Well, my mom wasn't a good cook, in fact she didn't cook often. However, my gram could whip up ANYTHING and it was delicious. Her Chicken Pot Pie is now our family tradition. It's not exactly what it sounds like because it's actually a Pennsylvania Dutch recipe. It's more of a chicken and dumpling.

My mother is a terrible cook.
I used to avoid coming home before dinner just so I wouldn't have to eat her food.
