Hugely inappropriate and unprofessional. You should never date at work, much less your boss - if anything goes wrong in the relationship, you could lose your job. It would be a very difficult sexual harassment case, since you approved the sexual advances, but were fired for non-work-related reasons.
It's also inappropriate because she is old enough to be your mother, and the considerable age difference means you probably don't have a lot in common besides your hormones.
If you really want to be with her that badly, quit your job before you pursue this any further, and don't say you weren't warned of disaster.

it is not appropriate at all. The two of you are both leaving yourselves open for a very uncomfortable situation and that is if the eventual break up is amicable, at worst you could be dragging each other through the courts for months or even years to come. Not a good idea buddy, don't do it.

Dan I'd suggest that the difference in maturity must be pretty great. That and your and her friends would probably not be that comfortable hanging around people with this age difference, let alone that she is your superior. In addition if and when things start going south where does that you leave, possibly on the unemployment line.

Buddy, I think you're being taken for a ride.
No pun intended, actually.
End this and get a new job. She is messing you over big time, and there is just no way you're going to benefit from this situation. If you don't, you will find out too late that she is a selfish, selfish woman. There's nothing in this for you.

Yes, you only live once. Get some experience and who better than a woman of 39, she'll be able to teach you a few things!!
Don't expect it to last though and have fun!!
