i know its offensive to say i never like cats since young, sorry to all the cats lovers. after living with my in laws for a year, they pick a female cat from the streets and they love it. its totally black in colour and its like the cat in a Japanese horror movie -The Grudge. i really dislike this particular cat because she would scratch my mother in law when she tries to carry her and leaving my mother in law with scratch marks on her face and arms. but she doted on that cat as much as my father in law. i think because she is a female cat so she is biased about sex. its been 4 years now and that cat had never scratch my father in law. she would tear our leather sofa using her claws and we had to change the sofa into a wooden sofa. she has her own designated bed. but she would always lie on our bed instead, even i tried to ask her to get off the bed, she will just lie there and stare at u nonchalantly. clearing her furs on my bed just makes my blood boil. i really hate her so much...

I don't know what gender you are but I am assuming that you are male because of your name. Any way most men do not like cats because a cat can never be truley controlled. And as we know, most men inherently are the dominate/controlling figure.

Also, it seems to me that most female cats are a little more b***chy to begin with. I know mine are. I have 2 females and 3 males and the males are the kinder of the two genders.

So don't worry too much about your lack of passion for our feline friends......some people are just not comfortable with something they can't understand or control.

I didn't like cats either ... then I met the man that is now my husband - he came equipped with cats ... 2 of them. Simon and Patches. These little fur covered demons ruled his house - there was a layer of cat fur covering every surface of the house. When we moved into our new house a friend of ours took Patches and we kept Simon. Believe it or not this cat was brought home one day by the police ... he'd been busted for B&E. (I am not kidding)
One thing that helped me get out my irratation at Simon was a squirt gun, a nurf dart gun and a pill bottle with a few beer bottle caps in it. These 3 items help keep the cat "in line" and allow me to get out my aggression toward the cat without doing any perminant damage.
Oddly enough ... after having spent the past 7 years sharing a house with Simon (aka: Peach Paw the Outlaw, aka: Captian Bad) I find I love the little guy. I know all cats cannot be Simon - but sometimes they will surprise you.

I suggest the nerf dart gun - soon you will find just the sound of you picking it up will send that cat running in the other direction. :)

Cats aren't humans and won't act like humans, just like dogs aren't humans and horses aren't humans.

She's being a cat. Some like to be picked up, some don't. They don't understand English so you have to be patient and train them what you mean. If you're consistent then they learn.

Take a look inside yourself and try to figure out why you feel this way when an animal is just being itself. Once you know why you get such strong feelings, you can change them in yourself fo you can become more understanding about things.

Cats can be trained while they are still young and would naturally follow the ways they are reared. But the number of cats in your household now is too many to handle turning the household to a mini cats zoo.

If you are wanting a cat I would get a kitten and train it via the water spray bottle. I love all animals but have run into a couple of cats who are that picky and hate me as much as I hate them.

What is your question? Perhaps your ill feelings about cats stem from an unpleasant experience previously in your life? Maybe you have additional anger issues and are displacing them on the cat.

What exactly is your question?

Some people like cats, and some don't. You don't like them and that's fine. You, as well as everyone else, is entitled to your own opinion.
