Nope....you need to start driving yourself. You need to get a license, if you don't have one, ASAP.
You know, flyingdove is right. He probably can get a restricted license. My husband got a DUI too and he was able to drive but only to and from work and the classes he had to take because of the DUI.

No. There is NO exception to this policy. He is very lucky to be keeping his rank to be honest. Most posts ban him from driving on post for at least a year, some for up to 5 years.
If the stars and moon allign properly and you have a lot of Karma saved up, the Commanding General -may- delay the restriction for on post driving IF you live on post. But this is totally blown out of the water if the State took his license.

You didn't say whether this was a military or civilian DUI. I have never been in trouble with UCMJ and neither have any of my soldiers, so I cannot answer that part. If it is civilian, you can petition the court for leniency, but it is unlikely it will result in a reduction in sentence.

Do the crime do the time, should have thought of his family before he did that stupid act. My advice is get your DL or set up rides case he wont have it for a long time. Be glad they did not take his rank or you income's could have killed someone.

More than likely, NO! I suggest you get your license or line up someone willing to drive you to the hospital! I've never seen them shorten anyones restrictions.
And as the other poster said... be grateful they didn't take his stripe and his pay!

Unlikely. Think about it. If that were the case, folks who lost their driving privileges could just knock-up their wives/girlfriends just to get back on the road.

I'm with everyone else. He is lucky he kept his stripes. He will have to get it back when the suspension is up.

punishment is just that..punishment. you will have to make your own arrangements, and be grateful they didn't fine him or demote him as well.
In fact, your being pregnant was probably the only thing that PREVENTED them form taking money from him. count your blessings.
