and do you think it can be done? If so, how?
I got the idea by watching CSI something or other. The dead body had a rug impression on his arm. Pretty fancy.
It would contain no coloration.
May be good for those who don't want tatoo to show up at first glance?

A "real" tatoo?
My premise was about a unique tatoo. I want to know if it can be achieved or if it has been achieved and I didn't hear about it.

Unique, yes but is that really something you want on your body for the rest of your life? I have nothing against tattoo's but do you really want a reminder of CSI on yourself?

Just a general recommendation on this one -

I think tattoos should be something personal that has value for the person. When I got mine, I thought a long, long time about what I wanted. Mine is significant b/c it represents a piece of my life. Some people get pierced (yes, I have that too) and some go for branding. We are all different. It is about what feels right for the individual.

Just take a few pieces of paper and start drawing little things that are what you like and remind you of you. You'll find something you like and it'll be unique because YOU drew it for YOU.
