Could be! You better stat to watch her very carefully from this point on.

Normal dog temperature is 101.2 to 102. You have to take them temp. rectally to determine it.
When a dog temperature drops below the 101.2 than it means that labor usually can start in 12 to 24 hours.

Very soon. She will probably give birth within 48 hours. Keep a close eye on her. In the last hours of pregnancy your Chihuahua may refuse to eat. Remember this: Chihuahuas often have a dificult time delivering and they also have small litters. Keep your vet's phone number with you in case of complications. Best of luck.

LoveUSA is a moron, don't pay him any attention.
When my toy poodle's temp started to drop about 24 hours before she started hard labor. It got down to 96 & her milk was easily expressed. Right before the hard labor starts, she'll have a gush of a dark pink/red discharge. Then she's in hard labor. It doesn't hurt to walk her if after a couple pups & you know there are more, she acts like she's done. My dog started cleaning & nursing her pups but I knew there was 1 more. So instead of letting her go to sleep & possibly have complications, I made her walk. The pup came pretty quickly after that. Please keep a close eye on her as toy dogs have a higher chance of complications that others.

Why the hell are you breeding when you have to ask this question? You are nothing but the lowest -- a backyard breeder. UGH!

There are to many dogs and not enough homes and here you are bringing yet another litter of ill bred dogs into the world.

THe only reason to breed is for the betterment of the breed. What are you doing? Using your dog as a money making baby machine. Do your dog and everyone else a favor and get her spayed for crying out loud.

dogs temperatures actually range higher than that on average. I wouldn't expect the birth just yet. But technically she would be pregnant for at least nine weeks (63 days). Her temperature should be a little higher than that. 2 days off of full term...maybe maybe. Good luck with the pups

however you took the dog's temp let me know. Never even heard of anyone doing that. I bet the vet would know. But just from having 3 kids myself your temp doesn't go up before you have the baby...pretty sure.

She'll spit out a litter of pups soon enough...put down an old rug outside and she'll do her business...don't let her in your house or she'll make a big damn mess
