God by far, because he created the universe and all of us living and everything else we see and use. So than God deserves the respect and we should respect his authority by abiding by his guidelines in the Bible.

Who has the authority for what?

In a free country, I have the authority to live the life I want to as long as it does not infringe on other's right to live as they want.

Where this line is drawn is the subject of politics.

Under the U. S. Constitution: You may think that God requires everyone to worship on Saturday and refrain from pork. But you cannot write that requirement into the law of the land.

I think I will have some sausage with my pasta.

God is the ultimate authority because God holds everything together and everything answers to God, but God gave man dominion over the earth. Again, though, man answers to God.

The laws of physics and nature are the authority... humans are bound by them, god doesn't exist in them.

When it all boils down to it....God. God can do anything! Man can't! Man can't walk on water or move mountains or bring people back to life once they have been dead for 3 days....ect...
