Cooking is an activity that often involves ritual and has had mystical associations since the dawn of fire.
Most of the magic rituals that I know of that involve food items are cooked rather then prepared.
The nearest thing I know of is a grounding ritual that requires going off into the woods with basically a pick-nick basket and staying until you have found your center.

Waldorf is the whipcream and fruit one right?
Unless we are classifying whip cream as witchcraft I would doubt it. Although whip cream has tempted me to the dark side more then once.
