No - I wouldn't trust a "best friend" who goes after his friend's ex girlfriends. Plus, that would put you awfully close to your ex periodically. It might look to your ex like you are trying to get back at him. It's just weird.

I would invite them both to do it with you at the same time. Then you get to explore being with his best friend and not having him feel excluded. Anything else and you'll create jealousy between them and then you'll be responsible for not just you and your ex-boyfriend's breakup but his and his friend's as well. Then you all get to enjoy the best of each other.

u know this happened to me. i was dumped so the guy who was my boyfriend could go out with someone else. his friend supported me and i became friends with my ex's friend. now i'm dating my ex's friend and the two guys aren't even speaking to eachother. but my current boyfriend says my ex was a fool for leaving me and he deserves to lost friends. about your situation if u really want this guy and this guy really wants u. make sure he isnt going to be upset if he loses a friend because he's dating u. good luck. talk it over with the one guy first.

This friend of your ex is well aware of the risk he's taking by pursuing you. He knows that his friendship with your ex will be strained, and he knows that he relationship with you could be strained as well.
If you two have a genuine attraction, go for it. Take it slow, but don't dismiss it out of hand because of your ex.

If you like him and he likes you then go out with him. As for what you should do, i don't think you need to do anything but tell him to tell his friend that way THEY work it out between them.

well its not like you broke up with him so he can have no reason to get mad at his best friend or you. i would go for it and if he gets mad then he is just stubborn! i hope it all works out! :)
