I am familiar with the forgiveness process your church group was addressing.
The attempted suicide and threat to your life, no doubt, was a stronger issue than your leader was aware of. This was a double trauma to you. Have you processed what happened and your reactions to that with an adult professional Counselor or other mental health worker?
If you have not, especially given your age related thought process, the time to forgive may be
a little further down the road for you.
At 13 you genuinely need help to process this.
And you need an adult to share your current and past fears with.
And, you also will be needing someone to pray with you and for you during this highly stressful time.
You can eventually forgive - when the time is right - and when you are ready. It sounds like currently you are still dealing with the trauma.
Did you ever discuss this with the police or school or parents?

Oh, um.. WOW that's a scary situation, I feel sorry for you. Honestly I have no idea for if you tell me if you are still in communication with I might be able to help you a little more than I am now. But maybe you should talk to your mom and dad and ask if you can switch schools!!!

sounds like your friend scared the crap out of you a couple of years ago.
Stay clear of her. Things change though, and she probably is not like that anymore, however it is hard to say for sure. Maybe you can go to a different school? Kids say and do stuff they do not mean all the time, but, since you have already had a negative experience with her, I would not want to take any chances.
