wow. 4-5 times a day? i dont even have time for that but yes, to much is bad. brushing one time is even good for you. you could wear your teeth out and thats a bad idea. just brush your teeth when wakin up and before going to bed.

Some people get toothbrush abrasion if they brush their teeth too much. It's the result of brushing the same area over and over and over again... and the teeth become sensitive.

If you're following proper Oral Hygiene protocol, then you should be ok... just make sure you use a soft toothbrush, floss, and make sure you're brushing correctly.

Yes, excessive brushing can actually cut grooves in the enamel. I have them at the edge of the gums. Some are deep enough they require fillings.

As long as you brush gently, with a soft toothbrush, then no, you won't hurt your teeth. Check w/ your Registered Dental Hygienist for proper technique and she will let you know and guide you so that you won't hurt yourself.

Yes

I know more than one person who had to have their teeth re-enameled after wearing them down from too much brushing.

No. As long as your gums don't bleed by third time, brush away.
