Harry Potter glorifes witchcraft, soccery and other things which are not of God, but of the devil. No true Christian would read those books or see the movie. God tells us when we are on the grounds of the devil, he will try to curse us. But when we walk right alogside Jesus and do only as Jesus did and tells us to do, we will be in Gods protective care, and not be harmed byt his nonsense. Jesus is coming soon and all of this is predicted and just how bad it iwll be, and it will be worse till Jesus comes too. But many will run more to the devil in darkness and many will run to even more closeness with Jesus and will give Him total obedience just as Jesus gave the father. ITs a choice whether we buy into this or not. Whats odd is so many call Gods Bible a myth and all just a joke, yet they will run to this stuff and love it, hunger for it. Jesus is coming soon and then all will know God is God, and will bow before Him, but it will be too late for those that didnt choose Jesus before they died or Jesus came again.
Just lets keep praying for those that dont know....

I'm not a witch (agnostic) but one of my friends is one. Let's put it this way. "Witchcraft" has been hyped up and gotten a REALLY bad rap. The truth is, wiccans do not believe in Satan, therefore they do not worship him (most wiccans do not believe he exists). Wiccans celebrate mother earth and it's basically a religion of the earth. What one would call spells are exactly the same as prayers. It's merely a wish that they ask of a god or gods.
I know that's not directly answering your question but I already answered your question last time (regarding harry potter).

Ermm... nope. It's because the idea that "Harry Potter is the same as witchcraft" is fundamentalist nonsense that forces children to not read books that have shown to in fact IMPROVE children's interest in reading. That's all it does. There is nothing that proves that Harry Potter serves any sort of evil purpose to get children to practice witchcraft, or to send them to hell, or whatever.

It's because you asked an open ended statement and people really do believe Harry Potter is evil. Of course those people are whack jobs, are you one of those people?

Harry Potter is not Wicca, not Witchcraft. It is a work of fantasy fiction. Fiction. That shouldn't be too hard for you to understand, surely.

If you think Harry Potter's "magic" is like doing the craft, then you need help.

Your question was silly. The stories are about good vs. evil. What's wrong with that?
I enjoy the books and the movies. They are FUN! I loved "Bewitched" as a kid too.
BTW, my receipt for the new book indicates that I bought it at 12:01am and I finished it at 4:15am today.

No, it is because you are totally off base. I am a Christian, and I think you are losing it.
Do you like fairy tales? Did you read Hansel and Gretel?
How about The Wizard of Oz?
NO way can you compare watching a movie to "doing witchcraft.?
DO you think seeing someone have sex in a movie is the same as having sex yourself?
No.....

Or maybe that was totally ridiculous?
I do witchcraft. Reading a story is nothing like it.
Reading = witchcraft? Are you next going to try to tell us people shouldn't be allowed to read lest they imperial their immortal souls?!? Yeah! The whole world should be illiterate! That's right! That's the way it should be!
