Your best bet is Whistler BC and Mt. Hood OR both have glaciers that have skiing year round. Tahoe wont have snow till late November and the Rockie resorts open depending on snow.

There are a couple of places in the Reno, Nevada-Lake Tahoe, CA area that use a snow machine to help out when needed. If we have some snow they will add to it. It's hard to say if we'll get snow in late October or not.

Really depends, but it's not very common that any major ones are open that early.
I live in the Canadian Rockies in Alberta, and SOMETIMES it's open that early given there's early snowfalls big enough to establish a good base.

Probably some out west in the States or in Canada/Alaska. You'd probably be looking at man made snow unless you went to northern Canada or Alaska.

Most aim to open around Thanksgiving unless there is exceptional snow.

honestly, Whistler-Blackcomb in Canada is the acceptable because of the large terrain (the main important in u . s . a . of america) and the typical of the operation, then in Colorado - Vail is a severe high quality city with the main important motel in the u . s . a ., Snowmass (Aspen area) is 2d to Vail in length with greater valuable (IMHO) extreme terrain and the main intermediate runs, Steamboat Springs has their famed "Champagne Powder", Jackson hollow in Wyoming has the main extreme terrain in the u . s . a ., and massive Sky in Montana is in the precise 5 for particular and is by no ability crowded.
