No.
There are Par 3's, 4's, 5's, 6's, and even a 7.
6's are rare, and ther is is only one 7 in the world (I think).
But there are no Par 2's. If there was one, the tee box would be on the green. Because after hitting a green in regulation, you get 2 putts to make a par.
Maybe the co-worker was talking about mini-golf. There are a bunch of Par-2's there!

Golf courses here in Myrtle Beach (and any other locations I have played) range from par 3 to par 6 (I was Proud to record a 7 on that one! Farmstead, Calabash, NC.)
A score of par 2 would be a Birdie on a par 3 hole, Eagle on a par 4, and Double Eagle on a par 5 hole.
All are invited to come play golf with me -- you bring the beer -- on the Grand Strand, 60 miles, 100's of glorious golf courses!
fore? Nah, Mulligan.

Not that I know of.
But I Was looking in the paper one time and there was a typo with a par 3 hole. It said par 2 but when I watched the tournament on TV, it was a par 3.
If he saw it in a magazine or newspaper, it was most likley a typo

i watch the pro circut almost religiosly and i have never seen a pr 2 , 6 , or 7 thoug all 3 are comonly found in video games , this dose not mean they dont exist, but it is rather unlikely
there however holes that have a handicap of 2, 5 ,7 and even 9 wich is not to be confused with par

I have never seen one on a regulation course. Maybe at a pitch and putt with a thrity yard hole, but never on a regulation course. You have to at least allow for two putts on a green , and one shot to get on the hole in the first place.
