I have to shelf systems. A sony 300w one with 2 speakers and a sub. And a aiwa system with just two speakers with average wattage. What's the best way to wire these speakers to gether with the sub for the maximum SQ?

I really would advise against trying to wire them together as they weren't meant to opperate that way and the difference in speaker impedence and amplifier output impedence could cuase the voice coils in the speakers to burn out or the amp to overload, neither of witch you want...

But if you were to wire them together i would use the aux output from one unit to the other's aux input, if they have them that would give you individual control over the volumes of each of the speakers to compensate for the difference in speaker power this is your best option.
But if this is not an option you could take a secondary split from the speaker out's on the sony and run them into the aux in of the other unit, but note this will be a speaker level signal, not a line level like the usual aux signal and will most probably sound horrible and have the potential to damage both amp's.

Last and probably the 2nd best option is to wire the speakers in parralell off the sony amp ( both speakers wired into the +/- speaker terminals on the back of the amp) but still i wouldn't advise it you could badly damage the amp if the speaker impedence is to high...

There's your options, but i wouldn't try any of them....

Hi there .First i have to know a few things.

Is your Sony Amp 2 channel stereo ?
Does the Aiwa system have an Amplifier ?
Do you want to connect the two Aiwa speakers to the Sony Amp together with the Sony speakers and have 2 speakers for each channel of sound?
What do you mean by "maximum SQ" ?
If you do connect them up it won't improve the sound. It will probably sound worse.
If you still want to do it ,i have to know the output impedance of the Sony Amp and the input impedance of the two sets of speakers.
