I don't use a griller, I use a small frying pan. I take two pieces of bread, add a piece of cheese, then put the top on it, butter one side then the other, & then fry in the frying pan on medium heat, until golden brown on both sides. I cut the grilled cheese sandwich in two, & eat it with a bowl of creamy tomato soup. mm mm good!!!

You could do it one of 2 ways - since you mention you have a griller - the first step is the same butter 2 slices of bread and make a cheese sandwich. Next place sandwich in grill device and allow to cook 2 to 3 minutes (you want toast not burn) remove to plate and enjoy. Alternately you can take the sandwich and butter the outside as well ten cook in a medium hot fry pan for 1 to 2 minutes each side again watching for toasting - if the cheese does not melt to your liking after grilling or frying your sandwich just pop in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. Good Luck!

I use a flat electric counter top grill. I start by setting the temperature on 350 F. I get all my ingredients out and ready to go. The cheese makes the sandwich. I personnaly prefer Velveeta, but have good luck with about any cheese you want to use. I use white bread, but any bread works well. I take a stick of butter (not margarine), and lubricate the grill liberally. Put the bread (two slices) on to toast in the butter, allowing one side to toast, when you turn the bread over, place the cheese on the toated side of one slice, and place the other slice toasted side against the cheese on top. Continue to toast the first slice until brown, and then turn the whole sandwich to toast the other side. This will allow the cheese to heat up. Eat it while it is hot, and enjoy.

you can just use a regular pan if you want, but have everything ready before you start because otherwise you will be running all over and burn your sandwiches. Butter a piece of bread and put it in the pan, butter side down. Then place your cheese on the bread and butter another piece of bread, placing it on top of the cheese, butter side out. It kind of sounds like you have an inside out sandwich. The butter keeps the bread from burning and gives it a little flavor too. Just flip it back and forth until reaching your desired color. It doesn't take that long to cook. This is GREAT with tomato soup!

I make mine in a ridged griddle pan. You put the cheese between the non buttered sides of the bread, so the butter is on the outside of the sandwich. Get the pan nice and hot, then turn it down to medium and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Squidge it down a bit with a spatula. Keep checking it as you go. Enjoy!

GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES
First, you take 2 breads. And then you take 1 piece of yellow cheese and put the grilled cheese in the toasted. You cook it for 5 minutes. When it looks crusty you must take it out of the toaster. Put the other cheese on top of the bread. Then put the other top on top of the cheese. Then you cut the sandwich in half (two pieces).

Alright let me help you out...
You need cheese, bread and butter.
Depending on your budget will determine what kind of cheese, bread and butter you get.
What I do is heat the pan up to about medium to medium high heat
Get two pieces of bread and butter one side of each bread.
Butter it up good now.
Next cheese in between the non buttered side of the bread.
(I prefer a mix of cheddar and Kraft American)
Now put sandwich (remember butter side should be facing outward) on grill.
Heat evenly by flipping sandwich a few times.
When you see a nice brown toastedness on the sandwich cheese should be melted.
Eat.
Repeat as necessary.

This is how I make mine. 2 slices bread and 2 slices of American cheese. The bread is always bigger than the slice of cheese, so I rip the second one up to completely cover the slice of bread. Hose one side down with garlic spray and put that in a pan over medium-high, and hose down the plain side. When the bottom is brown-ish, flip, and brown the other side. Voila!
And I like dipping it in wasabi mayo.

Put sliced cheese between slices of bread.
Spread mayonnaise or butter on both sides of sandwich (on the outside).
Cook in a skillet over medium heat until nicely browned on one side, turn over and cook until browned on both sides and the cheese is melted.
