You seem to have found a source of Scripture that may be suspect. Many of your verses are accurate in their quotation or paraphrase, but many of the more shocking ones are misquoted or taken out of context.
ie--Plucking out your eye is a profitable and good thing to do? Gross. The actual verse reads that if your eye causes you to sin, then it is better for you to lose it, than to go to hell because of it. Ideally, I'd prefer neither hell nor blindness, but I'd have to agree that blindness is preferrable to eternal damnation.
On the other hand: Jesus coming not to provide peace but a sword? That one is true. Contrary to what many believe, Christianity is not a very "tolerant" religion in the sense that "anyone who believes whatever they want is NOT a Christian." As a result, Christ is the standard and will divide those who believe from those who do not believe.
Good questions! Each of these is an excellent discussion starter. As such, all of these would be difficult to answer in all one posting, My suggestion is to get a Bible and read...not just single verses, but entire books and chapters. You'll be surprised at how much your perspective on these verses changes when you read what the author was really talking about.
Good luck.

There is no proof that anyone other than individuals at various times wrote any of this stuff. What motivated them is questionable. Money ,power, politics, greed ,status, good drugs or a need to spin a yarn could all be influencing factors.
Its always interesting how all these attributions to God all image our own human failings ,IE: vengeance, jealousy, anger, servitude judgment etc. Creation is neutral imaginative and life creating, creation is beautiful and inclusive. The real essence of God is all around us, the real essence of spirit is within us, the real essence of spirit is love an unconditional love that respects everyone and everything that has been created.

How about this one:
And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.--Numbers 25:4
or
Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.--Judges 4:21

All of these quotes have been taken out of context. In Patrick Henry's speech, where he said "Give me liberty or give me death," he didn't really mean for them to kill him if they didn't get liberty. Just so, give me any of these quotes and I explain them to you in the right context.
