Wow, didn't think I'd actually have to clarify, but for those who felt compelled to ask and for those who assume that I am either a cross-dresser / hermaphodite / female impersonater or just extremely manly in appearance....please note: I am clearly female, as my drivers license states. The cop who wrote the ticket obviously made a mistake. I just wanted to know if it's enough of a mistake to assist in getting the ticket thrown out. Thanks ;)

of course it can
i work for the rcmp....and it wont hold up in court....if anything is wrong on the ticket the judge will most likely throw it out
trust me even if the address is wrong it will get thrown out....its false information
think of it that way...these people dont know what they are talking about

I enjoyed reading your defensive response, but I can assure you I wouldn't have gone there. I don't know what the violation was, and hopefully it wasn't serious. Dress as cute as you can when you go to court. The Judge just might get a laugh out of it, and dismiss the case. Good luck.

I'd go to court and make a statement to the Court that either the officer was very unobservant or he was purposely disrespecting me by saying that I looked like the opposite sex. But bring enough money with you to pay the ticket...you'll probably need it.

Nope. Sorry, the ticket is a summons to court. The real charge or "complaint" will be signed in the city or county attorneys office. They will fix like that before court.
Sorry... :)

No, but it'd be best to never bring that up in any future or present relationships. Imagine telling your boyfriend "Hey, Brian, did I ever tell you about the time a police officer thought I was a guy?" Yeah, that'd be kinda awkward for him...

of course it will, just plead not guilty and it will go to trial, explain to the judge that the name on the ticket is your but by all means you are not male, if he can make a mistake with your gender , it is possible he could have made a mistake with the numbers, you scot free

The court will give you a sex change operation while you are in court. No problem. It's called amending a ticket.

I guess you are not guilty because the officer made an administrative error! Sheesh! Grow up! Pay the fine!

No, it is not enough. You still committed the offense to get the ticket.

Go to court, the judge might get a good laugh. But take your checkbook with you.

Now that is funny, maybe they need glasses or perhaps they were nicely giving you a subtle suggestion.
