Something that's complete all by itself, not just part of something else. Comes from the word "entire." Usually it's a way of describing a living thing that may not seem like anything else, something that can't be described, a living thing like nothing ever seen before. Or something that acts like it's alive, but isn't really, like some companies or organizations can be called entities.

An entity is an unseen being of energy. This covers ghosts, angels, spirits of all sorts. I'm not sure why it would be dirty unless you got the idea from that movie. You do realize Hollywood twists and perverts anything they claim is based off something real or true, don't you?

Hi,

There are three general types of spiritual beings:

Personalities
Beings
Entities

An entity is not necessarily bad; the vast majority of them are good. Entities are the most removed from human comprehension.

A spiritual individual. this includes God himself, Jesus, Satan, separate angels [ they are not all named] separate demons[ also not all named].
It does NOT include the Holy Spirit.
this is not an entity, but is God's POWER, His FORCE, that He can grant and dispense when you pray for some.
Its a bit like God can give you a special charge of electricity to keep you going.
You cannot deal directly with it or talk to it.
It is NOT an entity.

An Entity is a spirit or Demon that are not very nice and in some cases can harm you. There are many book's about this, you can go to your library or look it up on-line, very interesting!

it is an 'whole' object , as an example a tooth is not an entity, but an animal is an entity, even if it has lost a tooth.

A being, for instance a spiritual being such as god.

There could also be an alien entity, just another word for a being really, nothing rude!

Yes it is just a lifeform. I think the exact definition is something along the lines of somethign that contains itself. Which would mean it would also contain non-lifeforms. So that would also mean it would be anything that exists (tangible)o_O Because a piece of dirt cotains itself because it IS itself...
