Stay away from him if you haven't had it. It is contagious. I you have you can't get it again.
Cold compresses and calamine lotion dabbed on with cotton to lessen the itching. That's about all you can do.
If they guy is going loonie from itching and can't relax the doctor can give him some antihistamine that will help, but they may him very drowsy.

If you've had chicken pox you should be okay to be in contact with him, as you will have developed immunity, however if you have not had chicken pox it is more highly contagious two days before symptoms appear.
If you want to care for him get him some calamine lotion to ease the itching.

Nothing, wish him good luck and hope he gets well soon.
You can visit him if you had already chicken pox or if you have been vaccinated (no warranty).
But there is nothing to do....
ok... maybe you can.....send him a card and some cookies

stay away from him unless you want to catch it too!
Mail him a nice letter, telling him you miss him and hope he gets better soon. Make a CD of songs that are special to the both of you and mail him that also. And possibly buy him some calamine lotion to sooth the itching!

You can do nothing against it.Go to the pharmacy and get a powder or lotion against that horrible itching that's all. Get well!! And tell him not to scratch.
