aribic warak enib is it fattening?

my mom made some and i know that rice isnt fattening and for sure the leaves arent but my mom put a little meat and i just want to know is it really that fatteing because i am on diet.

you would have to weight out/portion how much rise or wheat, lamb or beef, oil, etc. the leaves, lemon joice that's not fattening but the rest is determined on how many you ate & their size. might want to try using cracked wheat (like in tabbuli) or brown rice as rice is fattening - granted there isn't that much in them but still.....

I'm on a diet that excludes most carbs and have lost a lot of weight. So, that rice would be fattening for me, since it is high in carbs.

It all really comes down to calories in and calories out anyway.

Rice isn't fattening? You may be mistaken about that. Still, the most important factor is portion size.

Yes and no. The olive oil and leaves in them are very healthy for you, but they do contain a lot of calories.
