I live in Houston, Texas, does anyone know of some where to take great great outside photo's?

Want to take picture of people outside. Need good outside backgrounds.

Not sure of what backgrounds you are looking for but there are a lot of places.

I personally like to go to churches that are old. It s near the Musuem of Fine Arts. I also like to take pictures at the cemetaries, the one on Westheimer and Dairy Ashford. Culture-based photos, I go to festivals at temples and restaurants. and many more...

There are so many beatiful places that you can explore. Not sure what you are looking for, maybe you need to have a focused subject matter, then you will find your places.

galveston island...
nite shoots of downtown should be awsome
nite shoots of the refinerys and other industrial sites as well.
there has to be someplace to get a good nite shot of the houston skyline...perhaps from a boat... or the katey freeway somewhere (you'd have to be out of the traffic and that may not be possible...traffic is crazy 24/7 around houston and the loop and such.)
memorial drive has some nice homes as does piney point.
the astrodome...the condos across the way from the astrodome (i painted some of them when they were being built in the 70s)
anyway i hope this gives you some ideas and perhaps some inspiration.

Did you try the Meacom Fountain, near The Warwick Hotel?

It has always been popular for photographs.
