aribic warak enib is it fattening?

my mom made some and i know that rice isnt fattening and for sure the leaves arent but my mom put a little meat and i just want to know is it really that fatteing because i am on diet.

The grape leaves I've always had were in olive oil. That can get higher in calories, even though it's not detrimental to your health. As a matter of fact, it's pretty good for you in moderation. But as in dieting, everything is good for you in moderation.

Rice can be fattening - especially white. The grape leaves are not. Depending on the meat - it could be. Did she use lamb?

I'd eat a few without any of the dipping sauces for dieting.

If they are stuffed with mostly rice they are. If just meat then think of it as meat plus lettuce and that is not bad.
