Love is an emotion. It doesn't exist as something separate that you can purify in any way. Even as an emotion, it is really a mixture of various feelings such as respect, lust, familiarity, kinsmanship, trust, loyalty, friendship, and many others. For my mom, my love is more respect, trust and familiarity. With my girlfriend, it is more respect, friendship, and lust. I like different people for different reasons and neither can be called more pure or true than the other.
The most you can say is that you feel the emotion more often and more strongly for some people than others. However, that's not really quantifiable.

I think true love exist if you want it to exist and for that you have to love someone truly.
You can't except someone to truly love you, because when you fall in love u dont ask the person to love u back.

No, as at today, there is nothing like true love because true love has nothing to do with sex. For all I know, women give sex for love whilst men pretend to be in love in exchange of sex.
So, where is the love? True love is of God who gives altruistically without asking for anything in return whether you an atheist or a theist.

i don't think anyone can properly define true love. if you take the opposite, it must surely mean something as well. but false love has no meaning either. so, the phrase ''true love'' is thus flawed and we can conclude that it does not exist.

YES, it exist...b ecause I have got it, I have experience it,thats why I am telling..True love is unconditional love.. It do not expect any thing in return...B ut certainly it is like diamond..One have to every very lucky to experience TRUE LOVE...
B ut one has to search...keep searching one day it will have to come to you...Keep practicing love..in your day to day life...donot hate anybody...
Certainly no doubt you will find standing before TRUE LOVE. It is really a wonderful thing...cannt express in words.

Yes, but if your soulmate is murdered, you will never meet the person and will go on marrying and divorcing or whatever you choose to do in relationships. At least, that is what I believe.
