you are sure an inattentive driver. If they were all 3 your fault, I'd say you need some retraining. Let me guess, each time you had the music up loud and friends in the car, right? I'm 51, I have never had an accident (on the street) while I was driving. I've been passenger in a lot of em though!!! I haven't had a ticket since I was 17. So, you be the judge about wether you have had too many accidents, and what you can do to improve your driving.

I have 3 accidents in 42 years. The first, in 1967 I collide with a guy that ran a stop sign and then stopped. In 1975 a red light runner got me. I hit a truck in 1995. He stopped sideways across a lane on the highway believe it or not! I can't do much about those, but I still think that is too many, despite not being able to control the actions of others. I hate to say it, but you are the last person that can avoid the rear end collision.

I've been driving for 42 years. Never had an accident other than being rear ended myself twice. One time the lady wasn't paying attention. The other time the guy was following too close. Which one sounds like you? Or is it both.

Yes, that's way too many. If they are you rear-ending someone, you are following too close and not paying attention.

Since you asked, I never had an accident while driving until I was 45 years old.

That's a lot in the insurance companies point of view, and you'll be paying for it. Rear ending someone is the result of not paying attention, or following too closely. I wouldn't go so far as to call you a "bad" driver, it does sound like you might want to consider your driving habits though.

Do you drive in heavily populated area where there is a lot of traffic like New York City or Los Angeles? Sometimes people drive nuts in those areas. Don't beat yourself up or let these people deter you from becoming a good driver. Maybe you should take some lessons. That way you will build more confidence. Believe me I know.

It seems that you might be a little "bad" behind the wheel.
And, three accidents in 3 years is excessive.

Try to determine why you are having these accidents and then stop.

Most often, if you rear-end someone you are the cause.

I am glad I am not buying your insurance. Check out "the drivers edge dot com" either accident avoidance school or driver control school. Then get on to the Race track and learn what driving is all about at high speed.

I would say you better get a good job because if they where your fault your insurance is going to be listed as high risk. You will be paying more per month than I am paying for full coverage for a year. I have been driving for 35 years, and have no tickets, and no accidents that where deemed my fault. (Last one the dear got blamed but he wasn't around to contest it) Start paying more attention when you are driving, it will save you from paying allot more dollars in the future for insurance
