dude, everyone has demoralized and defamed jews before the holocaust.
jews are one of the most picked on people on the planet with the possible exception of william shatner but he deserves it.

No,antisemitism was widespread in the ancient world,and entrenched in Europe well before the advent of Christianity. Eventually the Church had to actually place them under it's official protection; this occured with Pope Martin V in the 10th century. He issued a Papal Bull commanding all Christian princes and other nobility to provide them with safe keeping within castle walls in the event of a peasant revolt against them,which was not uncommon given their role as tax collectors and money lenders. We have never defamed or dehumanized them; in fact,the more we do for them,the more they denounce us as evil and blame us for their lack of popularity. In 1928 Pope Pius 11th issued a bull stating in blunt terms that "no Catholic may in any way be antisemitic and no antisemite may be in any way a Catholic." In effect,he condemned it as heresy. Jewish historions have been raking us over the coals ever since. None of the Protestant denominations have done a thing for them,so they don't have anything bad to say about them,in fact they get along great with fundies. But they have an insatiable hatred of Catholics. This started with Martin V but really intensified after 1928. It would appear do you anything on their behalf it just enrages them you didn't do more. Best to do nothing. Then they haven't anything against you. We shouldn't have interfered.

Nazis have been Christian. no longer good Christians I admit however the officailly professed Christianity as their state faith. And sure caricature propaganda depicting Jews in all styles of terrible roles became used previously and via the holocaust. you have misplaced me in spite of the undeniable fact that, what's the "next team on their record"?
