Jeeeze Happy, I don't want to sound like a wet blanket but I think you are putting too much in a second date. That's just barely on the threshold of forming a relationship. Why don't you find an interest with your friends and just wait until your special person comes along?
If he's interested you will know. Other wise get a cat. I've got one. Very spoiled but loves stroking! Just like me.

Dont over-analyze. How do you know he isn't that interested anymore? Did he say something? If not, don't worry! just have fun and see how far it goes. He may turn out to be the love of your life or a toad! Just don't ask him something like "do you like me because I sense that you don't, why?" You will scare him away for good! Act confident and take a genuine interest what he is saying.

First and foremost, he probably asked you out because he probably liked you, right???? As for you being shy, there's nothing wrong with that. Some girls are shy and some are not................and some are agressive(you know what I'm talking about). I do think that he probably felt that you didn't give him any kind of "sign". You know, behavior language. For example, how you are with him(compared to other people)??? Do you smile alot???? Does he smile alot???? Etc. Usually our expressions can tell alot to how we feel withingour environment. For example, if it stinks, you get the hell out of there!!!!
PS: Show him(not physically) in your expressions that you are interested. Or you can just tell him you like him(women will never ask a guy out........unless she is agressive, lol). You want to show him that you enjoy his company........
PPS: Good luck.....

You are already intrested in him and you just want to keep him intrested in you. Right?
Then I guess, you should just get closer to him. Talk more about the things he in to. And maybe go to a sport event he likes.
Good Luck!

Having sex with him might keep him interested for the time, but you need some one better who suits your needs, like someone who will play chess with you, rent from blockbuster, (instead of actually going through the crowds......), and staying with you, not who you are seeing right now........
sorry to say, you two have conflict of interests.......

Buy some tickets to a sporting event. If he likes sports, and you initiate the date, then he will know your interested and you pay attention to his interests.

"Sex will keep him interested" lol
You're doing just fine, he definitely likes you. Don't think too hard, just keep hanging out with him as you would but make sure he knows that you're into him too and everything will be bliss!
