After a few weeks, they have a falling out, and she demands that he returns her undies. Is the guy under any obligation to return them after she purposely left them at the guy's place so long ago? It was a token, a token that right now they are having sex...after falling out theres no need for you oops i mean them to keep them , it gets passed to the next guy..
I say give them back as a guy who has had that happen before at the falling out stage I didnt want any reminders and gave them back..

Okay, first of all they are not her panties. When she left them under his pillow they became HIS panties. She was leaving him a sexy gift and that is what it is. When the relationship breaks up he is under no obligation to return them.
What you should do is get a beer and burn them on your grill as a ceremony of the closure of your relationship. Once they are totally burned, toast the good times and move on.

You leave your panties as a reminder.. and the guy will either give them back right away "Here you left these" or he will throw them away. If she hasn't seen them by now.. they went out with the trash long ago.
