No, they don't believe that Jesus and Lucifer are one in the same.

They believe that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers.

What a funny question. Why would you think that we believe that Jesus and Lucifer are one? I am a Mormon and I can tell you that we definitely have no such belief. Where did you get that from? We believe that they are two totally separate beings and that Lucifer/Satan has been Jesus's enemy since before the Creation of the Earth. We certainly are not Satan worshippers. We follow Jesus Christ and reject Satan completely.
If you have any further questions, feel free to drop me a line.

David- love your answer... it made me laugh!

I agree- Jesus and Lucifer/Satan are two separate beings, albeit brothers. But they're as different as night and day-- literally!

Jesus, Lucifer, and the rest of us were in heaven with God (Father) before the creation. Father had a plan for us all to continue our growth and progress, but for this plan to happen, we needed to leave our Father's presence. So Father created a place for us to go- Earth.

He knew that only perfect beings would be able to return to His presence.... but He also knew that we'd screw up. So Father also needed someone to be a mediator. He asked for volunteers- Jesus stepped forward, as well as Lucifer.

Jesus was wise enough to see the need for the plan to stay as Father originally set forth. Lucifer, on the other hand, didn't want to do it God's way. He wanted to change things up so much that the plan wouldn't even work!... and he refused to acknowledge God's wisdom.

This mindframe is classic pride. This attitude is what doomed Lucifer.... and it's the difference between Jesus Christ, the Savior of mankind and Satan, the Father of Lies.

I've never heard that one!

No, we don't believe taht Jesus and Lucifer are one anything.

We believe that all persons ever born were spirits before they were born in mortality, and this included Lucifer (BEFORE he fell) and Jesus (he eldest of all the spirits, intended to be teh Christ). But not that they were one anything. We don't worship Lucifer or Satan or anything but Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

We don't believe that at all! They are in no way the same! We believe they are spirit brothers, that God made both of them, but there is no way that Christ and Satan are the same!

As far as being born again. That is a personal thing. We believe that being born again begins with faith in Jesus Christ, then repentance, then baptism by immersion, and then receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) that will stay with you always- as long as you live your life the way Christ would have you live.

It is a personal thing between you and God. We do believe that baptism is essential for salvation. Christ taught this concept while He was alive, and if it's good enough for Christ, it's good enough for me!!!!

We don't believe that.

Now to answer your question of how someone can be born again - being born again is an individual, spiritual change. It means turning from the sort of person that wants to sin, to the sort of person that has no desire to sin - it's often symbolized and started through baptism, but for most it's a life long process, and it is only made possible in and through the atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Thanks

Well, you've done it for me. Up to now, I've poked fun at mormons and their perplexing theology, but you've made three statements you know are incorrect and tried to pass this off as a discovery of a flawed doctrine.

Your attempt at revealing what is the 'real truth' is no more compelling than if you peed on an electric fence.

They believe they are brothers and they believe they are spiritually born again, so they do not have to confess they are a sinner or need a savior because their Savior already died on the cross, nor do they need to get saved and say the sinner's pray, they believe they can evolve into God's therefore it is within themselves to do all by themselves.

If we left anybody on my own who might there be to tell them with regards to the affection of God? we don't say we are stronger to absolutely everyone. We Christians are actually not a hate team, we share the affection of God with anybody. would desire to or not it relatively is your disillusioned because of the fact you hate God? Why do you hate God? i've got faith sorry which you do not prefer to be with God for all eternity, yet might extremely spend all eternity with devil who is going to be in a annoyed temper continuously.
