Behavior like having a sex buddy puts sex into a different context than if sex was saved for only one special person, your spouse. Sex in the new context is just a physical act or it may even be a physical act with someone who is not even a meaningful person in your mind. This means the sex is more mechanical and is like having sex with a prostitute that you know well and the payment is physical gratification for the prostitute.
Every time one has sex with a sex buddy the reduce their ability of having a truly meaningful sexual experience that transcends the physical realm. Such a sexual experience has so much more to offer in terms of the pay off. It is mental physical, emotional and even spiritual. It is on a much higher plane of existence. The pay off is way more than can be understood by those who accept sex as solely a physical release.
The question you have to ask yourself is should I give up on the ideal? Should I accept second best? Should I not go for the gold? Should I not go for brass ring? Should I accept uncooked rice kernels when I could have caviar? Should I accept poverty when I could be royalty? Should I accept a used rusted out 1964 VW bug when I could hold out for a 300 foot luxury yacht with a heliport and copter and a Lamborghini?
You know the master craftsman, the designer of your body, is telling you how to live to find the most happiness. Why not believe Him?

Sex buddies are actually a really bad idea. It may start out as an idea of convenience, just two people who don't want to be committed to anyone but still want to have fun, but it will backfire. It almost always end up that the two people end up having feelings for each other - and it's usually the girl that feels the most. It makes sense when you think about it; sex it a very emotional thing. Why don't you wait to share that with someone you love?

As far as guys go, sex buddies are the greatest thing ever invented.
Women on the other hand usually end up getting to a point where it's got to be more then just sex and that's usually when the sex buddy thing goes south. It's all up to you really, if you don't mind having a sex buddy right now then it's all good... Just know that most likely if you ever want more the guy is probably going to disappear.

Well, nobody can answer that question except you.
It's both common sense and a health matter isn't it?
You are sleeping with someone to have great sex, which you obviously enjoy. So, of course there's no problem there.
You both know where you stand.
So again, no problem here either.
Now, what if one of you fell in love with each other?
Since you have more than one sexual partner, the risk of std is greater wouldn't you agree?
It's really an adult matter, and as they say, if you can't take the time, don't commit the crime!
Really up to you and your beliefs, values and choice of lifestyle!

I think it depends on how highly sexed you are. Some people are happy with good old masturbation but others want to feel skin that's not their own!
I think it's fine as long as both partners are aware that the relationship is one of "sex buddy" and not "committed relationship" - at the end of the day fun is fine, but no one wants to get hurt.
Play safe!

Harmless fun... until you get pregnant or he contracts a disease from one of the other people he is seeing and gives it to you. If you're willing to take the chance, then so be it, but these are real problems to consider. Doesn't seem so harmless when you're giving birth to a baby with HIV. Condoms are not 100% effective. Neither is birth control. I, personally, would never have sex with someone who was not exclusive to me. It isn't worth it.

Ok...stop think about this a minute!! What if you get pregnant?? do you love this guy? would you marry him?? Yall are sleeping around with other people...What if he contracts a disease?? Like HIV or genital warts?? You can't get rid of that!! So therefore, if you are not careful you could wind up a knocked up woman with no baby daddy, hiv +, and warts where you dont want them...chances of all three happening are not that good...but what if?? alwo...what if one of you fall in love and the other still wants to just be a sex buddy?? I say end it now...to much possible drama to deal with...Good Luck!

I don't really think it's a good idea as someone will always want more out of the relationship than the other and someone will get hurt! On the other hand it could work out that you both want to move on to the next level which would be great! It happened to me and i married mine! x
