Pretty much.
Last I checked, those Christians saying that she is in heaven are not all St. Peter

It is God who will judge Tammy Faye...
the Christian community was deeply hurt and harmed by her and her former husbands actions that made television Evangelist and ugly word...
These same Christians are also showing their lack of Biblical understanding and knowledge.....
Tammy Faye is asleep until the day of judgment.....she is not up in heaven, etc...
and it would be nice to remember that there are 2 kids that had to grow up with in that mess and their mom just passed away....

Because they do not want to be judged. In their hearts they know what 'sins' they have committed against their imaginary god.
And because they want to be able to go to heaven too. So if Tammy Faye can get there after cheating thousands out of cash they could not afford to give, then they should have no problem.
They say these things out of fear of the alternative, rather than out of any actual knowledge.

Well, I can't speak for other Christians, only myself. It is Jesus at the right hand of the Father who has replaced judgement with mercy.
If she was reconciled to God the Father through Jesus Christ the Son, then she is en route to Heaven. Now I do not know if this is the case, but it isn't about judgement. I don't need to judge - "for the Son of man came to save, not to condemn." (John 3:17)

She is covered by this scripture.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6Â Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

If she repented of her sins and trusted in Jesus as Lord and Savior, then, indeed, she is in His presence in Heaven. That is not a judgment on some human's part. That is what the Bible says.

You do know that if you ask really really really stupid questions, you will probably get really really really stupid answers, right?
Nobody can tell you Tammy Faye's final destiny...that is strictly between her and God. We know that.
It is not my place to say she does or does not deserve Heaven because of something she did or did not do on this earth, whether I liked it or not.
Jesus came, bringing forgiveness with Him.
As for me, it will be my turn, soon enough.
I'm not about to set any unfortunate precedents.

She is not in heaven-
Revelation 20:4-6
Tells us that The Dead in Christ - will come back to life & reign w/ Christ for a thousand years-- When Christ comes again-- not before.

It is not our place to judge anyone. That is God's right. By saying she is in heaven, they are simply giving their opinion that she has suffered enough on this earth and believe God has forgiven her sins. But only God knows if she has earned a heavenly reward.

She is forgiven. She loved the Lord. It is really God's decision but as far as I understand she loved Christ.
