First of all, you can eat nearly *anywhere* and lose weight. You need to eat a well-balanced meal, one which contains the correct balance of proteins, fats, and carbs, and not too much else.
Problem is, it's real hard to do that at most places, since there isn't much on the menu that you can adjust.
That's what makes places like Subway different. They have eight sandwiches which have six grams of fat or fewer. The caveat? No cheese, no mayo. So get a six-inch sub. I'll use Subway as an example, since I know them best. The eight lowest fat sandwiches are:
Veggie Delite®
Ham
Turkey Breast
Turkey Breast & Ham
Roast Beef
Oven Roasted Chicken Breast
Subway® Club
Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki
Put them on whatever bread you like (and if you want to cut carbs, they do wraps too), skip the cheese and mayo, and then put as many veggies on it as your little heart desires.
Then combine that with a good exercise regimen, and you're on your way to a healthier life.
GL!

It really just depends what you get. If you get a meatball sandwich piled high with cheese, then no. I get the veggie delight at Subway. It's just a basic vegetable sandwich. If you want meat, go for turkey. Instead of mayo try one of the fat free sauces like honey mustard and skip the salt and oil. Don't get chips and if you are going to get a drink, go for diet or tea without adding sugar. And remember that quantity counts too. Instead of getting a foot long, get a 6 inch or you can get the foot long and save half for later.

No.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

The salads are probably the best things for you. Their advertising emphasizes that their sandwiches have much less fat than sandwiches from places like McDonalds. But if you read the fine print, their are 6 sandwiches on the "healthy list" and there are certain condiments or oils and sauces to avoid.

Don't confuse thirst with hunger. Drink a glass of water after you feel hungry to see if that's what you're really craving.
