This is something I just don't get. Why do some people think that there religion is right and the others are wrong?

I'm sorry, but everyone doesn't like sushi, but I don't hate people for not liking sushi!!!

Why is it that people can't understand that a religion for one person, can not work for another? There are so many religions that fit into people's faith. They all teach to love, to be compassionate, to forgive.... what is the big deal with people having their own religions????

Tell me what you think, do you agree??

Its a matter of believing in something. If someone is educated enough, the word hate will not be used at all to describe a feeling towards other people who have different belief system. People should be more understanding of others and not insist on pushing what they like or what they believe in on other people. If they think their religion is the best, then talk about it, if the other party believe them, then well and good, if not, leave them be. Everybody's happy. Agree?

:) I agree with what you want, but not about your misunderstandment. You cannot compare a belief to likes and dislikes. Suposedly you shouldn't pick a religion because you like it better than another. Why would you be a Christian if you didn't think there was just one God? So you see, if you are of a particular religion, you will think it is the right one. If you didn't think it was the right one, why would you be in it? O_o. They're just intolerant. Difference brings fear. And what do you do to something you fear? You get rid of it! It is a threat! It must be removed. So the natural emotion applied to wanting to get rid of it, is anger and hate. Lol, most religions DO preach love and compassion, but NO ONE is void of it's opposite, hate and anger.

i agree. mainly because i get ridiculed by catholics(not all but some) in my town who think im a satanist because i'm wiccan.

well thats deffiantly not true.
and i wish that it would go away. and sites like http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/

saying all that stuff about people's lives.
so what if people are homosexual/bisexual. so what if that teenager wants an abortion and so damn what if i want to practice wicca :P

see? but i guess its just the inconciterate people of the world that need to be taught that they arent god. they dont make the rules. and they dont know everything. and they cant tell anyone whats right and whats wrong if they believe in it.

i hate having to explain to people about this because its a big smack in the forhead.
at least i dont walk around dissing thier religion.

we are better then that.

Blessed be!!

I dont like sushi :D

Because religion is based in faith. Faith is not a very solid foundation. There is a constant fear that other religions just might be real and this fear hurts faith and creates anger. Anger peaks when the other faith ignores needs of your faith to gain followers and therefore--in your mind--denigrates your faith.

I wish we could all just get along. hehe All my friends have different religious beliefs and we get along fine. We discuss what we believe in and never try to "sell" out religion to anyone else.

My friends and family include
Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, Adventist, Mormon, Agnostic, Atheist, Jewish, Jehova witness, Rastafarian and many more

I wish we could all just respect and love each other. One day...

I agree, the world would be a better place if we were all tolerant of others beliefs. Let God be the only judge.

From a spiritual stand point, I do not hate anyone.

From a freedom stand point, I will fight to be able to worship as I wish and give you the right to worship as you wish as well.

Peace!
