Imagine you went over to a friend's house one day, and found that he had figured out how to make little, tiny people - only one inch high. The little people were just like normal people only really tiny. They could talk to you, they could think on their own, make decisions, and feel emotions.

A couple days later, you went over to your friend's house again, and he told you that the little people wouldn't do everything he told them to. They weren't really being horribly bad, they were just not doing every little thing that your friend ordered them to do. Then he tells you that since they weren't completely obedient, he has decided to dump them all in his incinerator.

Since he made the little people, do you think it should be his right to just burn them all to death? Or would you call the cops?

I see where you're going with this, I think. If he wants to play God, then that's fine, becuase that's supposedly what the "real" God" does with us.
Yes, it is his right, as he created them.

This is the best Q I've read in a long time. Outstanding.

The only problem is that some Christians (not all) struggle with hypotheticals.

this is a non-question, people can not make little people of 1 inch high, stay on the ground with your two feet and try to solve real problems.

your friend makes little people!!!!!!! awesome, no jk, but no he shouldnt burn them, if they are normal people of course they wont listen to everything he says to do. Everyone has free will, even uh...1 inch tall people.

if this could be true, the fact would be that he didn't make the little people...God made them. he was using the skills and abilities that are God-given...

then he used his free will to become a murderer - a crime for which he will have to answer to God.
