Fake ID Help?

ok so i am 16 and im going to aruba in august. at the hotel im staying at there is a small casino that i have to b 17 to get into. i made a fake id from my driving permit and i laminated it a couple times to make it look real. do the people by the doors of casinos usually check ur ID if they think u look underage? i was thinking of putting it in a wallet that has a a little window type thing(like for drivers licenses) so they wont feel it and look at it too closely. thanks, Joey

In many casinos it's the same as entering a bar, and they'll check you if they think you're within 6-8 years of the limit. And the window thing doesn't work, you have to pull your ID out, as bubbles in the lamination are a surefire tell that it's fake. The earlier poster was correct in that you're a lot more likely to get in if you've got a real ID that just sorta looks like you than one you've made or altered yourself. Altered ID's are EASY to spot, as there are numerous safeguards built into them, and altering them changes things. Examples are holograms, UV writing in the lamination itself, number codes, and even magnetic stripes that allow the data on the card to be "swiped" into a portable reader. There's a book that bars and casinos have that tells them all these things to look for. Get a real license that just looks like you, isn't expired, and memorize the data. Don't forget to learn your astrological sign and your birthstone. Oh, and if you DO use your permit, remember that sometimes they won't card you until you win a bet. So you can gamble as long as you want so long as you're losing, but when you win THAT'S when they'll ask to see ID.

I really wouldnt suggest a fake ID. Because if you get caught with a fake ID you can get into some big trouble. I have tried to use a fake ID at 7-11 to buy beer and they guy kept it and threatened to call the cops. I also know if you use a fake ID at a club, the bouncer will just snap it in half and make you leave. I think your better off borrowing a friends ID that you kind of look like. At most they will just deny you entry to the casino/club. As far as aruba. They might not be as strict, since its out of the USA and they might not even know what a USA state ID looks like.

I promise me and Golden_Angel and Invinsible are not the same person,i swear!! each one of us have only 1 ID! And i personaly think ppl making many ID and faking themselfs are kinda lame!

You had better drive very carefully when you get home. You don't want to be stopped by a police officer. I wouldn't want to be you when the officer finds out you have an altered permit.

At some point, you'll probably need to hand over your permit when you take your road test. Just one more opportunity to get in some trouble.

if you look older then your age like if your 16 but look 18 chances are they wont id you.... UNTIL you try to cash your winnings lol happend to me in atlantic city i was 18( 21 to gamble there) i won 2 grand and then this big type of bouncer guy asked me to come with him to a back room.... they told me they wont call the cops and stuff i just give the money back.... i didnt wanna get into troubble i did it and left...

geting caught with a fake ID in the US is one thing, but do you really want to risk having that kind of problem in a foreign country with an unfamiliar legal system?
